When she went to Santa Monica College the following year, her two “awesome” basketball coaches, Lydia Strong and Danny O’Fallon, made sure not to make the same mistake as her guidance counselor. “I had a 3.8 GPA, and I was an All-Star athlete, but my high school counselor didn’t check the fee waiver on my college applications.”ĭiaz spent her first year out of high school living and working on her own. Even though she was a single parent of four, she refused to let Diaz work in high school and instead told her to concentrate on her studies and sports.ĭiaz set her sights on college, but her journey was nearly derailed by a clerical error. I left my last Obgyn because she was very impersonal and had little regard for my questions and concerns as a patient. I can just imagine how much money they get from people who either are not aware of pap smear guidelines approved by ACOG by performing unnecessary procedures.

Naturally, they charged my insurance for an unnecessary pap smear so I was charged. As a medical student, I know that pap smears are only required every three years but they insisted on doing one or I couldnt get my birth control. THIS IS NOT AN OFFICE YOU WANT TO HAVE AS YOUR GYN!!!!!!! They constantly call in wrong prescriptions, over charge for copays and then bill for services they never even provided. The office is old and they skim on services. I guess because they know they are putting fraudulent charges. I have never in my life have someone speak to me in such a degrading manner, over a billing issue. Instead of going back and forth I just kindly told them that I would find another GYN. When I contacted the office the staff was VERY RUDE! I couldnt believe it. I started receiving bills for services that I never recieved. I hope in future she will check her attitude on future calls. I am a peaceful person and I deal with people and have done customer service and sure we all have bad days, but I really felt her rudeness, and that is not very good for business. I would of gladly paid for the visit being that it was my fault, but when after she return to the phone she still had a rude manner, so I kindly told her I would of paid for visit if this was the problem, and that I will find another doctor. When I did call to cancel appointment the receptionist was very rude and nasty on the phone.

I looked at my calendar this morning when I got home from work and it totally slipped my mind about appointment. Recently I made an appointment to see dr chantel, and my appointment was for the 28th of January, and my period came on the Sunday before.
